Yailet Suarez
Zum dritten Mal konnten wir die temperamentvolle Kubanerin Yailet Suarez für ein Workshopwochenende im TA-TAA! gewinnen. Yailet Suarez ist weltweit auf internationalen Tango Festivals und Veranstaltungen zu Gast. Schwerpunktthemen ihres Unterrichts sind die Tango Dynamik, Musikalität und die Arbeit am Rhythmus. Yailet ist auch eine exquisite Double-Rolerin. Das Wochenende wird insbesondere für Double-Roler sehr empfohlen.
Yailet Suarez ist eine professionelle Tänzerin, die 2008 ihren Weg zum Tango fand. Nachdem sie in englischer Lehrmethodik und später in kubanischen Tänzen ausgebildet wurde, trat sie der Tanzkompanie "Neotango" in Kuba bei. Sie ist die Gewinnerin der Italienischen Nationalen Tango-Meisterschaft 2016 in der Kategorie "Tango de Pista" und Gewinnerin der Italienischen Metropolitan Tango-Meisterschaft 2016 in den drei Kategorien Tango, Milonga und Vals.
Workshopinhalte: Musikalität und Verbindung für Führende und Folgende
Yailet: „Die Erfahrung, die ich im Laufe der Jahre beim Tanzen in beiden Rollen, der führenden und der folgenden Rolle, gesammelt habe, hat mich dazu gebracht, zahlreiche Analogien zwischen beiden Rollen in Bezug auf die Grundlagen des Tangos zu erkennen. In der Folge habe ich diesen Ansatz auf methodischer Ebene auf meinen Unterricht übertragen.
Ziel dieses Wochenendes ist es, an einem größeren Bewusstsein für die eigene Kommunikation durch die Umarmung zu arbeiten. Wir werden uns auf die Unterschiede zwischen der Kommunikation konzentrieren, wie wir auf der einen Seite denken, dass wir sie mit unserer Umarmung anbieten, und wie sie auf der anderen Seite tatsächlich von unserem Tanzpartner empfangen wird. Gleichzeitig werden wir sowohl musikalisch als auch in Bezug auf den Umgang mit der Kommunikation zwischen den Rollen einen bewussteren Umgang mit Rollenwechseln innerhalb eines Musikstücks entwickeln, um jeder Rolle zu ermöglichen, ihre eigene Musikalität auszudrücken und gleichzeitig die andere zu respektieren, d.h. ohne die Ausdruckskraft einer der beiden Rollen im Paar einzuschränken, wenn die Komplexität der musikalischen Interpretation zunimmt.“

Tango DJ Marcelo (Marce Ros)
Marcelo wurde in Uruguay geboren und lebt in Tel Aviv, Israel, wo er seit 2011 als Tango-DJ tätig ist.
Als begeisterter Milonguero teilt Marcelo mit der weltweiten Tango-Community seine Leidenschaft für Tango-Musik zum Tanzen. Seit 2015 legt Marcelo regelmäßig bei Encuentros, Marathons, Festivals und lokalen Milongas in den USA und Europa auf und war von 2020 bis 2023 der offizielle DJ bei der Argentine Tango USA Official Championship in San Jose, Kalifornien, wo er auch einen DJ-Workshop gab.
Marcelo war auch als DJ auf führenden Milongas in Buenos Aires und Montevideo tätig: Porteño y bailarín, Parakultural, La milonga de Lucy, Barajando, El Rodriguez, El chamuyo (Montevideo), unter anderem.
Marcelo passt seine Musik feinfühlig an die Energie der Milonga und der Tanzfläche an. Seine Musik ist sehr traditionell und ausgewogen und sorgt für einen konstanten Fluss während der Milonga.
DJ Julija Zaiceva von Totally in Tango
Die Belgierin Julija Zaiceva hat sich seit 2009 dem Tango verschrieben. Sie ist mit ihrem Mann Ludo Decreus Mitbegründerin der mittlerweile international sehr erfolgreichen Double-Role Bewegung Totally in Tango. Seit 2016 wächst die Totally in Tango-Familie beständig. Im Jahr 2023 fanden bereits 12 Double-Role Veranstaltungen von Spanien bis Skandinavien über ganz Europa verteilt, statt und ermöglichten ein Zusammentreffen mit vielen internationalen Double-Role-Tänzern. Grund-Credo der Veranstaltungen ist es, mit großem Respekt vor der wechselnden eigenen Rolle und der des Partners zu tanzen.
Als DJ zollt Julija den Tango-Klassikern Tribut und schafft durch die Musik eine entspannte und offene Atmosphäre. Dies ermöglicht es den Tänzern, ihre Emotionen und Kreativität auszudrücken, die von Aufregung bis hin zu Melancholie reichen können, während sie alte Freunde umarmen oder neue Freunde finden.
Duo Villarreal Crom
Das Duo Villarreal Crom besteht aus dem Sänger und Gitarristen Juan Villarreal sowie dem Gitarristen und Komponisten Patricio Crom. Heute zählen sie zu den bekanntesten Duos der Tangoszene in Buenos Aires und weltweit. Sie haben zahlreiche Tourneen durch Lateinamerika, Europa und die USA unternommen.
Ihre Musik zeichnet sich durch eine tiefe Verbundenheit mit der Poesie und Melodie des Tangos aus, die sowohl Tänzer als auch Zuhörer gleichermaßen verzaubert. Juan Villarreal gilt als einer der gefragtesten Tangosänger Argentiniens und tritt mit namhaften Tangoorchestern in Buenos Aires auf.

Von Samstagnachmittag bis Sonntagmittag können im TA-TAA! Tango-Mode und Tango-Schuhe erworben werden. Mira & Andrés bringen eine umfangreiche Auswahl aus dem Tanzsportlädchen mit: Tangolera, andere Marken für Sneaker und Trainingsschuhe, Kleidung von Gustango speziell für Tango aber auch andere Hersteller zum Beispiel MALY, Rumpf, etc. die auch für andere Tanzsportarten anfertigen, die man aber auch für Tango nehmen kann.
Mira & Andrés sind erfahrene Tanzlehrer und Tänzer für Tango Argentino und bringen langjährige Erfahrung in den Bereichen Tango-Unterricht, -Workshops, -Tanzreisen und -Ausbildungen mit. Daher wissen sie genau worauf es beim Schuh- und Kleiderkauf beim Tango ankommt.

Yailet Suarez
We are very happy to have Yailet Suarez from Cuba once again in the TA-TAA! for a workshop weekend. Yailet is a frequent guest at international tango festivals and events all over the world. Her teaching focuses on tango dynamics, musicality and working on rhythm. Yailet is also an exquisite double-role dancer. The weekend is particularly recommended for double-rolers.
Yailet Suarez is a professional dancer who found her way to tango in 2008. After being trained in English teaching methodology and later in Cuban dances, she joined the dance company "Neotango" in Cuba. She is the winner of the Italian National Tango Championship 2016 in the category "Tango de Pista" and the winner of the Italian Metropolitan Tango Championship 2016 in the three categories Tango, Milonga and Vals.
Workshop Content: Connecting Roles Change in Musicality
Yailet: "The experience I have gained over the years dancing in both roles, as leader and follower, has led me to identify numerous analogies between the roles played by the leader and the follower with regard to the fundamentals of the tango. I have subsequently transferred this approach, on a methodological level, to my teaching.
The aim of this weekend is to work on a greater awareness of one's own communication through the embrace. We will concentrate on the differences between the communication we imagine we are offering with our embrace and the one which is actually received by our partner in the dance. At the same time we will develope both musically and in terms of managing the communication between the roles, a more conscious approach to role transitions within a piece of music, in order to enable each role to express its own musicality, while respecting the other, i.e. without limiting the expressiveness of one of the two roles in the pair, as the complexity of the musical interpretation increases."

Tango DJ Marcelo (Marce Ros)
Marcelo was born in Uruguay and lives in Tel Aviv, Israel where he has been a tango DJ since 2011.
As a devoted milonguero, Marcelo enthusiastically shares with the global tango community his passion for tango music for dancing. Since 2015 Marcelo has been a regular DJ at encuentros, marathons, festivals and local milongas throughout the USA and Europe, and was the official DJ at the Argentine Tango USA Official Championship in San Jose, California, between 2020 and 2023, where he also taught a DJ workshop.
Marcelo has also been a DJ at leading milongas in Buenos Aires and Montevideo: Porteño y bailarín, Parakultural, La milonga de Lucy, Barajando, El Rodriguez, El chamuyo (Montevideo), among others.
Marcelo sensitively adjusts his music to match the energy of the milonga and on the dance floor. His music is very traditional and well balanced, maintaining a constant flow throughout the milonga.
DJ Julija Zaiceva from Totally in Tango
The Belgian Julija Zaiceva has dedicated herself to tango since 2009. Together with her husband Ludo Decreus, she is co-founder of the now internationally successful double-role movement Totally in Tango. The Totally in Tango family has been growing steadily since 2016. In 2023, 12 double-role events took place across Europe, from Spain to Scandinavia, allowing many international double-role dancers to come together. The basic credo of the events is to dance with great respect for the own changing role and of one's partner.
As DJ, Julija pays tribute to the tango classics and creates a relaxed and open atmosphere through the music. This allows the dancers to express their emotions and creativity, which can range from excitement to melancholy, while embracing old friends or making new ones.
Duo Villarreal Crom
The Villarreal Crom duo consists of the singer and guitarist Juan Villarreal and the guitarist and composer Patricio Crom. Today they are one of the best-known duos on the tango scene in Buenos Aires and worldwide. They have toured extensively throughout Latin America, Europe and the USA, performing at prestigious festivals and in important venues.
Their music is characterized by a deep connection with the poetry and melody of the tango, which enchants both dancers and listeners alike. Juan Villarreal is considered one of the most sought-after tango singers in Argentina and performs with renowned tango orchestras in Buenos Aires.

From Saturday afternoon untill Sunday at lunchtime Tango fashion and Tango shoes can be purchased in the TA-TAA!. Mira & Andrés will be bringing a large selection from the Tanzsportlädchen: Tangolera, other brands for sneakers and training shoes, clothing from Gustango especially for tango but also other manufacturers for example MALY, Rumpf.
Mira & Andrés are experienced tango teachers and dancers for Tango Argentino. They therefore know exactly what is important when buying shoes and clothes for tango.
